Best donor accounts

Hi all,
I set up Barclays and TSB donor accounts and switched them to Santander and NatWest to get the joining bonuses of £175 each.
I would now like to do the same to get the £200 Nationwide bonus.
Does anyone have any other suggested donor accounts to set up to then switch across to Nationwide?
Thanks

Starling or Monzo are good and quick to set up0

Metro bank will open an account for you whilst you wait.....take id, visit a branch, walk out a few minutes later with an account.0

What is the reason for not using your recently created Santander or Natwest account (one of the ones you switched to)?1

You’ll be able open secondary account with Santander if using say the 123Lite, you can easily open an Everyday account, setup two DD’s ready to switch out. Dare say NatWest will let you do similar. I’ve not got a NatWest account yet…. Just about to switch a spare Santander everyday to NatWest though.0

The trouble with using Natwest as a donor account is that DDs don't show on your account until the first payment is made, so if you are setting up 2 DDs on it for the Nationwide switch it will take longer to get "switch ready" than using Santander.Catplan said:You’ll be able open secondary account with Santander if using say the 123Lite, you can easily open an Everyday account, setup two DD’s ready to switch out. I've always found Lloyds make a good donor account. Alternatively you could use TSB's spend & save account. The spend & save account offers £5 cashback if you make 30 debit card payments each month for the first 6 months so every 6 months you end up with the perfect donor account.0 -
Neither Monzo or Starling are 'good' enough to deprive oneself of a £175/200 switch bonus.Rob5342 said:Martico said:Starling or Monzo are good and quick to set up
They are good but that's why I'd suggest not using them as donor accounts (in case you want to use them as your main account later). I'd suggest Barlcays or Metro as they don't seem to offer switch bonuses.0 -
Any mainstream bank that doesn't have perks that are worth keeping0
