I have a question for you guys:
My wife is eligible for the £150 payment towards energy costs, however I am the one who pays the bill; my question is…. What do we need to do to claim the £150? As it’s not paid directly to her but is discounted by our energy supplier.
Any advice with this would be gratefully received, thanks

Disability £150 payment will be made with the Disability Benefit payment direct to your wife. It is not done via the Energy Cos.
SWMBO informed me the other day that she has got hers with her latest PIP payment (end of September).
What disability benefit does your wife receive and when was it last paid / due to be paid next?0 -

Any advice with this would be gratefully received, thanksI'm not sure which payment you are referring to ? I think you may be getting confused by the number of different ones out there...The £150 cost of living payment that is currently being paid out to those on disability payments will indeed be paid directly to your wife by DWP into the same account as her benefit is paid into. The £400 energy rebate is being adminstered by the energy suppliers and how you get it will depend on exactly how you pay your energy bill - if you pay a monthly direct debit it will be reduced by around £66 a month for six months. If you are the council tax payer in a Band A-D property you should also have already received a £150 payment earlier in the year.
