Fund Portfolio Opinions

Hi all,

So I'm in the process of rebalancing my funds that I hold in a stocks and shares ISA. The reasoning behind the rebalancing was because I felt I had too much in some riskier funds and with the current market volatility wanted to protect my wealth but to allow some decent growth over time. To give a bit of background I'm in my late 30s, with a separate pension portfolio, so this stocks and shares ISA is purely for longer term savings. I'm drip feeding £300 (would like to increase this in the future) a month and rotate this into existing funds so that all funds grow at proportional rates without going above my set percentages for each fund. I would hope to leave this pot to grow for 5-10 years but the wife may have some sway on that!

What I would like your opinions on is whether the percentages i've defined are reasonable boundaries. Also, any suggestions on funds selection would be interesting

How do you select your funds?   The list looks a bit like fashion investing (i.e those that often appear in media articles - often self promoting media articles)

    1) I would not describe Baillie Gifford American as medium risk.  It is much more volatile than say an index tracker.

    2) Why so little Europe and Far East?
