My Appeal win at the Tribunal has been appealed by the local authority!

Hello all
I rec'd a fine for being in a box junction back in July and last week went to the tribunal - and won! I was told that I would not have to pay the fine and received a letter from the tribunal saying that I had won.
However, the local authority have written to me this week to say that they are appealing the appeal and I would hear in due course. I can't believe they've gone to this trouble for £65 and after an independent tribunal has already decided! They are contesting it on 'factual information' saying that they disagree that the car which pulled in front of me at the junction pulled in front only after I stopped...
The letter was sent to me from the local authority but only on blank paper, not even headed paper and doesn't explain what happens, or if I might have to pay after all, after having been told I don't have to. There's no legal information just a printed letter so I don't know what happens. Nothing yet from the Traffic Tribunal people.
Has anyone experienced this before? Any advice what will happen next? This is causing some stress in our house as obviously we were told we didn't have to pay and now we might have to find the money (up to £135) in the future if they decide against us.
Thanks.

Whilst this forum is for private parking scams, a few years ago I had a similar problem. Mine was not a box junction, I went over a single traffic bridge for buses only.
The council rejected my appeal so I went to the Traffic Tribunal and won due to lack of signage
The council also appealed to the Traffic Tribunal who wrore to me requesting I appealed again to them. All I could do is resend my first appeal which they had already ruled upon.
Again I won and the stupid council wrote to me saying they would take me to the high court ..... it was only £60
So, I went to the local paper and my article was printed. The stupid council responded to the newspaper saying they were taking it to the high court. I was allowed to respond and I simply said ... "Warning to residents and ratepayers of this council and how they propose to waste your money"
Never heard again. The Traffic Tribunal don't like these crony councils
Council cronyism at it's best
The press are always interested in this type of rubbish, no harm you doing the same5
