Heat networks price cap
Has anyone worked out how the Energy Bill Relief Scheme will work for the 500,000 or so UK Homes on heat networks (ie communal heating)? The people who manage mine say they are waiting for government advice. The announcement on 21 September said the wholesale price would be capped for "non-domestic" user at £75 per MWh. But it's unclear how that will work for users. Many of us have already been hit with huge increases and aside from the £400 off electricity bills, get none of the support offered to people with gas CH. https://www.gov.uk/guidance/energy-bill-relief-scheme-help-for-businesses-and-other-non-domestic-customers

As far as I know, nothing applies directly to users of heat networks.0

Is there any update to this? DS1 is in a flat served by a heating network and whereas it has good insulation etc the actual cost is high because the price guarantee doesn’t apply.I'm a Forum Ambassador on the housing, mortgages & student money saving boards. No update, still doesn't apply and nothing else announced.
Given what's been in the not-a-budget today, I don't expect anything to be announced either.0
