Area Rates Different
Excuse me if it's been asked before, but. Although I am Eon Next, I see that my rate tallies exactly with the EDF pdf https://www.edfenergy.com/sites/default/files/government_energy_price_guarantee_prices._standard_variable_deemed_and_welcome._credit_meters.pdf
If that is true for all regions, it seems that London, East and South East pay more per unit than the rest of the country. Why? Excuse me if I've missed something.

North Wales & Mersey (the old MANWEB) region is often the most expensive overall. Scotland tends to have the highest standing charges.
London has expensive unit prices but the cheapest standing charge I think.
The cost of building, upgrading, maintaining and running the complete system (so including the generators, transmission/distribution, control centres etc) isn’t the same everywhere.0
