Hi,
My mum is looking at houses and apparently has found a 3 bed (she's currently in a 1 bed) there is 1 double bedroom and another two rooms sizes are both 3.1 m x 2.3 m each. That sounds small to me or am I wrong? I can't imagine how big that is are they singles? I haven't been able to view it as I'm poorly and she wanted my opinion so I'm trying to imagine it!

Is there a floor plan on the advert? Pictures of the rooms furnished? Or look at adverts for other houses which do have floor plans and look for rooms of similar dimensions.Get a tape measure and measure the size out. A double bed is about 2m x 1.35m so should fit in those rooms, but it depends on where the doors/windows are and how much else you want in the room as well. Sometimes a single bed and more space is a good option. But a banker, engaged at enormous expense,Had the whole of their cash in his care.

The bed is on the far wall.
The room is a bed length and a bit. There's 2.2m between you and a single bed if stood in the doorway. Or 1.75 to a double.0
