The tenant was evicted on 11th August and the prepayment gas meter(non smart) was showing an arrears. I opened up a new account and i was given a reference number to collect a replacement card for teh gas and a key for the electric. The electric went fine but the shop didnt recognise the reference number for the gas.
Despite many repeated calls to SP and assurances they would sort it out its never happened
3 weeks ago i made a complaint to SP and someone on there complaints team rang me a few times over the next few days and eventually they said they would send me a new card credited with the arrears figure and it would be with me within a week
Obviously this hasnt happened and i need to really sort this mess out. I have rang today but i had to hang up after 92 minutes on hold
Even tho they acknowledge that my complaint is showing on their system they cant give me a complaints reference number
Anyone help me??0 -
My neighbour has been trying to get an issue resolved for months with Scottish Power and it isn't going well. She sent a letter about 5 weeks ago and no response to that.
If after 8 weeks of raising your complaint you don't get a resolution, raise it with the Energy Ombudsman here: https://www.ombudsman-services.org/sectors/energy
