Pet insurance declined claims

Hi. My insurance policy terms state they won’t pay out on pre-existing ‘Illness or Injury”. In my scenario the pre-existing issue is a normal benign fatty lump common in Labradors which was small before taking the policy out but has now grown (as is normal) and may need removing just for comfort. It doesn’t fit the defo option of illness or injury but the insurer is trying not to pay. Anyone had the same and claimed successfully? Thank you.

    That is normal.

A pre existing condition is anything which exists  or you have consulted your vet about, whether treatment was given or not.
