EDF E7 rates

Are these likely to remain unchanged for the two year fix on the Cap Rate? Currently I am with BG and for the last few months my energy usage is 5kWh for the daytime and 4KWh for the 7 hours at night. I use as many of my appliances and charging during that time. And since this year I have lighting my fish tanks at night rather than most of the day as well. Once winter kicks in I do heat several greenhouses to an average of 12C day and night with some additional LED lighting. The greenhouses are bubble wrapped insulated. For the last two winter readings I have I would actually save staying with BG. But those winters I didn’t light my tanks at night so that will have an effect. Overall switching to EDF might be a no brainer though given the stress of BG setting up my account after I got moved there from PFP Energy not sure if I could take much more stress! On looking at the EDF website it doesn’t look like they are accepting new customers as all it has is logging on for existing ones. And do they do Gas as well or only electricity?

They do both electricity & gas.
Many people don't like their billing system (my personal experience is worse than BG).

They don't seem to encourage E7 judging from their web site! " We don't install E7 meters anymore, or have a tariff called ‘Economy 7’"  Might see how it pans out once I start heating my greenhouses. Though that tariff for E7 is the best by a long way! Though at least the BG new capped tariff is about 6p per KWh cheaper now than the previous April Cap.
