DWP possible identity fraud

Thanks. My name is very unusual so would be very unlikely to have same DOB and name. I had put a request through to action fraud, but still waiting for a response, but on your kind advice have applied to have my name removed as director from these companies.  The DWP have said that the deductions would be on hold until the investigation completed, so fingers crossed.

Just a note, I saw a post on Reddit recently where someone in a similar position had a company set up a business at their address, was asked by Companies House to prove that they lived there instead in order to disconnect their address/name from the company.

After sending the required Council Tax bill to CH, they promptly sent that bill onwards to one of the other addresses they found for said company along with a letter telling the company the details of who had raised the complaint, asking them for a rebuttal, thereby giving even more details of the person they had already fraudulently used. A fairly serious data breach you would think, but apparently their normal process.
