They are not scaring customers by giving incorrect info. You should have received an email with a PDF attachment giving the new prices for your area.0

@MWT You keep telling people with Octopus that they will get £67 back soon, they won't. Octopus are one of the companies who have lowered the DD amount they take by £67. They credit the full amount (lowered DD + govt £67) to your energy "pot"
Some other energy companies take the usual DD amount and then send back £67 to your bank a few days later but not Octopus.Barnsley, South Yorkshire
