    They are not scaring customers by giving incorrect info. You should have received an email with a PDF attachment giving the new prices for your area.

    @MWT You keep telling people with Octopus that they will get £67 back soon, they won't. Octopus are one of the companies who have lowered the DD amount they take by £67. They credit the full amount (lowered DD + govt £67) to your energy "pot"

    Some other energy companies take the usual DD amount and then send back £67 to your bank a few days later but not Octopus.

    No, I keep telling people that they will get a credit to their Octopus account in the next week or so as per this message...


    The DD is showing in the Octopus accounts now, but the additional credit is not yet there...

    I have. I pointed out that My Account shows a link on each of my tariffs to my emails but there is no email to read. The sole outcome of my email to Octopus has been the removal of the email links.

    The 'Go Faster' email was not tracked on the account emails link.

    Because they had short notice about the EPG and systems are still being updated by most companies.
