NatWest AIP with a CCJ?

My credit is squeaky clean, and I am the lead applicant with the higher salary. I have had a mortgage with nationwide for 5 years and never missed a payment. I have had multiple credit accounts and always paid on time and don’t miss anything.
Has anyone else got a mortgage with NatWest after having satisfied CCJs on file?

to add to my querying.. do they completely reject CCJ upon full application or do they look at the whole package?0

This is their lending criteria for adverse credit - I don't think they accept CCJs. If you have adverse credit outside their criteria, they will just reject, they do not look at the whole package.
"We will not consider applications from individuals who have been subject to a bankruptcy order or an Individual Voluntary Arrangement in the last six years.
We can consider applications where one or more applicant(s) has a history of unsecured loan arrears. Subject to credit checks and bank account conduct carried out by an underwriter"

Thank you for your reply. Was kind of hoping that they would look at the bigger picture.I didn’t think they would accept
My broker has told me that NatWest credit score their own way .. and don’t use the same processes as others. Also, said the credit check has pretty much been done, it would just be a case of checking documentation at application stage. The CCJ was sent to old address it’s such as shame he didn’t get a chance to pay it before CCJ went through. He had to money 🥴0 -
@Lckuj2018 I'll echo what your broker has said. Many mainstream lenders don't have any explicit criteria with respect to CCJs and defaults. The "credit-scoring" that they do at the DIP stage will take into account any adverse details on the report and factor it in. If other aspects are strong (low LTV, low LTI, like-for-like remo, etc), that can often make up for the odd default or CCJ.
If it gets to a manual review, the underwriter can still ask for details of the CCJ and make a subjective assessment, but up to this stage, you have got as much assurance as you can get.
Good luck, hope the offer comes through soon!Lckuj2018 said:Thank you for your reply. Was kind of hoping that they would look at the bigger picture.I didn’t think they would accept
