All I wanted was my CA reports.
How come they are doing credit applications in my name? Have I fallen for Click bait?
Who are Clearscore?
Thanks

Do you mean they have made searches? If so, what kind of searches? Soft? Hard?
Clearscore are Equifax, so every time you look at your Equifax report you see a Clearscore soft search. Capital 1 and Zopa are financial institutions. The searches are probably because you made an application for one product or another which required ID verification. Only hard searches mean that credit applications have been made. You can essentially ignore soft searches.
This is an excerpt of my Equifax/Clearscore report. Note that not all companies report to Equifax, or to all CRAs, so you have to check the other two CRAs too. In my case, it is untrue that I had no hard searches even if Equifax think I haven't had any.

Thanks @Daliah
NO applications made. They are Soft searchs, the question is, who initiated them?
I would sell something or go buskingetc if I needed dosh.
My report is in " my files" and is different to your's and does not say "soft searches are not seen by others".0 -
Who are you using to get this report ?

Have you agreed they can keep you updated with potential credit cards, loans etc or have you had a look to see what potentially you could be offered? That's when the soft search checks are usually done.Mortgage started 2020, aiming to clear 31/12/2029.1

This happened to me and I queried it. Was told that every time you look at "eligibility" for cards or loans, searches are done - soft searches. I had zopa, 118 and capital one on my report. I hadn't applied for anything - just keeping an eye on eligibility. Now I try and reduce the number of times I access this section. Hope this helps1
