Warning!

Cash totalling £300 was withdrawn from her account at a bank in India on 5 December - seven days after she used her Switch card in Houghton. Despite paying £25 a year to protect her card against loss, theft or fraud, she has been told she is not covered because only the card details were stolen, not the card itself.

    Most of the transactions occurred between December 10 and 12, for various amounts up to £850 and officers believe the cards had been cloned over the last fortnight after a PIN reading device had been used to obtain the secret codes throughout November.
