Maplins item out of stock but still showing in stock on website

I ordered 2 PCs item A97HG, from Maplin on 13th Dec after checking there were over 50 in stock on their site. I received an email the following day saying order on hold as item out of stock. I'm really annoyed as I wanted them before Christmas and their website still shows 32 in stock today. http://www.maplin.co.uk/Search.aspx?criteria=ideq&source=15&SD=Y I wouldn't have ordered them if I'd have known they had none in. I've just sent them an email to this effect. :mad:

Seriously though, I would also be mad as heck. My hubby doesn't call them Craplins for nothing.

Actually Alison These are Biostar Ideq mini PCs. Very attractive and almost silent. They don't look out of place in your lounge or a smart office. The CPU pre-installed in this one is adequate for normal office work but no good for a gamesplayer.

The price at £99.99 is pretty good as I only have to insert DDR2 ram and a hard drive. Oh and a DVD as there is no blanking plate supplied.

However I'm angry that they are still taking orders for something they don't have!!!

Wasn't the pc's I was referring to, they do indeed sound a very good deal, you just need to find a half decent dealer now.:p

Ah I understand. I have to say that when I received Maplin's email I did a little act that was reminiscent of your avatar

I received an email confirming despatch of my PCs and they were delivered yesterday. Maplins came through in the end and I'm happy now.
