Draught excluding with removable excluder

We have two sets of wooden french windows which are very draughty. I spent ages trying to work out out to use conventional draught proofing but then i realised i could use some floorboard temporary draught excluder from stopgap. Its a strip of plastic you fold in two which creates enough spring to hold it in place. I put a strip inside and outside and it stops most of the draught. If it’s very windy it might pop but it’s easy to push back in. I found a little bit of wood from a skewer can help if the gap is big.
It can be used for sealing the gap between the skirting boards and the floor. My old house the gap between the floor and skirting was reading 2 degrees and creating mould, sealing the gap made that area the same as the rest of the room and stopped the mould.
It’s quite expensive at £25 per roll but it is a long roll and makes a big difference.
On the doors we roll roll it up in the summer so we can use the doors.

You used this stuff?
https://www.amazon.co.uk/StopGap-Floorboard-Draught-Excluder-Neutral/dp/B00DGY70MII have ordered but haven’t yet received some of this:
https://www.amazon.co.uk/STORMGUARD-05AM021005MW-Self-Adhesive-Draught-Excluder/dp/B077Y88DQWNo reliance should be placed on the above! Absolutely none, do you hear?0 -
Hi. Yes I have used the first one. I had a couple of spare rolls so was easy. Would be interested to see how the self adhesive one works. Our gap is between the two doors and the lock sticks out a bit on the outside which made normal door draught excluder no good. We have the metal and rubber excluder on the front door which works a treat on a normal door but no good for French windows.0

I don’t think ours was called heavy duty but it was stormguard. It makes such a difference.
