When I transferred to another provider, they took another direct debit just after my final bill. It’s been a couple of weeks now and they’ve not replied to my email. Just wondering whether to hang on given how busy they are, or to go for the direct debit guarantee. Phoning during the week when I’m at work is difficult. How long are other people finding it takes them to get back to you at the moment?

  • It's taking around 2-3 weeks to get a reply via email atm. You can send a DM on twitter and you'll normally get a reply the same day. It normally takes 6-8 weeks to get a final bill, but it can be longer if the final readings have not been validated yet.

Thanks, I’ll give Twitter a go. I’ve had the final bill and they’ve refunded the credit. Then taken another direct debit the day after, for reasons known only to themselves, which is now just sitting there as credit on a closed account.
