Decided to see whether my tariff was updated on the E.ON website and this is what I found

• We're updating our prices to reflect the government's Energy Price Guarantee.

  Please note that your bills will be correct but the changes are taking longer to reflect in your online account. You don't need to do anything as we are working hard to get this updated.

Loads of posts / complaints  both here and on their own community about the accounts showing the old October cap prices, no doubt their phone lines were overloaded as well.  Easier to take it off line until sorted.
