I don't think I've ever finished a lipstick - but have managed a couple of glosses so 👏 to you @VALM

I also went to Lush at the weekend and bought a few bombs and bubble bars as well as replacing shampoo and conditioner that's going to be finished soon.  Oh and bought some bubble bars as gifts for Christmas.  It came to a lot of money but I only really buy bath bombs etc at Christmas so didn't feel too bad about it 😆

At the Trafford Centre they had a card game at the till where you picked card.  If it said Trick on it you got shower gel sample.  If it said Treat you could get a free full sized product or free shipping on online orders for a year.  1 in 20 chance.  I got the Lord of Misrule Shower gel sample.

They had the same in my local store but it was a random sample for Trick or a £15 spend in store for a Treat.  I got a sample of snow fairy body lotion and a soap sample too (because I spent a lot in there...)

Have succumbed to the lure of Sephora but for something that I needed - I'm almost out of my Biossance rose face oil which my skin loves and managed to get a kit that contained a full sized bottle of it along with some travel mini's for a lot less than the RRP of the oil alone, thanks to a 20% discount code and a £5 reward voucher 👍

It literally takes me about 2 years to pan a lipstick.  I have a MAC one called Dare You that is half way there and a mini by Marc Jabobs called Goddess which has had some serious attention too.  I do think I'll finish another liquid lipstick soon though - Too Faced Caramel Apple - as I'm not getting much product on the wand now.  Won't remove the stopper for this one as it is too small and I ended up cracking a tube open the last time I tried to remove one so small.  I practically re-apply all day!  Lol.

I'm calling it a day on the Too Faced Melted Matte liquid lipstick as I could hardly apply any this morning.  I'm not a fan of this formula.  I do have four other colours which I'll work my way through.

Another UU but a bit boring - Superdrug Vitamin E body wash (Shea fragrance).  This was nice, that's all I can say.  I only bought this as it was BOGOF and I was picking up the Coconut fragranced one to go with a Coconut body lotion that I was taking away with me.

    • The Body Shop Lipbalm in Watermelon: This has been almost finished for soooooooooooooo long.  Finally calling it, can't get anymore out. I have many lipbalms, don't need to buy any right now.  Would re-buy, but not Watermelon as I like one with a bit of colour and this doesn't really have any tint at all
    • Dear Klairs- Supple Preparation Unscented Toner:  Feels like a real achievement when I manage to finish a toner, as I always have a couple open at a time  .  I like this toner- it is juicy and thick, and feels lovely n hydrating on my face.  Has lots of soothing goodies like panthenol, beta-glucan, aloe, plus licorice which can help with brightening and copper tripeptide-1 which can help with well-aging.  I'd deffo buy this again!  But can't, as I have a thousand other toners right now   Which to open next?? It is sadly exciting!

    • OPI Nail Lacquer Thinner: Got a few nail polish's that I love but have gone a bit too goopy. Rather than chuck them away, I got this.  Wish me luck!
    • China Glaze nail polish- Don't get Elfed Up: Lovely sparkly dark teal colour, v pretty.  Have it on my nails right now- it's gorgeous!  Naughty purchase though  :s
    • China Glaze nail polish- Life's Grimm:  Dark olivey colour with goldy green shimmer.  Also a naughty purchase :s

Another UU - I'm on a roll! - Australian Body Care body lotion 500ml.  HG product although I've switched to 200ml tubes just because it was easier to travel with.  Bought on a 3 for 2 recently so won't need any more for a while.

I painted my nails last week with OPI Every month is Octoberfest - I've had this a very, very long time but it is still lovely to apply and hardly used because I just don't like the colour.  I've given it away so it might actually get used.

I think I will do a nail polish declutter, I share them with DD and she took a few of her favourites to Uni but she can't wear them for quite a lot of her course and she can't wear them for work so she hasn't too many opportunities to use.  I've started applying it again but we have sooooo many we need a declutter.

    IN

Avon Supershock Volume Loader Mascara - I did actually order a different mascara but they sent this instead, I opened it straightaway to try so that I could send it back if I hated it, anyway it's actually really nice, the brush coats every single lash and it makes my lashes look nice, and it doesn't flake which is super important for me.

  • Let us know if you do a nail polish declutter @dolly84 and what you get rid of and why!  I was going through my nail polishes the other week thinking I should get rid of some.  I swatched all of them on some paper (not the same as on nails I know) and totally wimped out of doing it, like 'what if I should suddenly want or need a bright pink??'- what, the pink you force yourself to put on your toes about twice a year?

I finally have a few more UU's for the month:

Jordan Samuel Skincare Aftershow Treatment Cleanser - This is a HG cleanser for me, I've been using it for years and one of the massive 240ml tubes lasts me almost a year.  Very pleased that it's now available on Cultbeauty and I don't have to order from the states anymore.  Have replaced with a mini Glossier milky jelly cleanser that's been sitting in my skincare drawer for a while.

Nivea Sun Shower gel - was cheap and did the job, scent is the same as their suncare range so supposed to evoke memories of summer holidays 🤨  Have replaced with one of the lush mini's I bought last weekend.

Lush Sympathy for the skin body lotion sample - had this sitting in my bodycare drawer and thought I should probably use it sooner rather than later.  Like the scent and the fact it lasts but can't stand how thick it is.

Lush Dream Cream sample - again had this sitting around and thought I should use it.  Also like the scent on this but again it's a little too thick for me on a regular basis.

Mac Prep and Prime Lip - love using this before lip products as find it really is good at making them last longer.  Have replaced with a new one from the collection

OPI Matte Nail Envy - best base coat for me.  Have ordered a replacement with a discount and some credit I had with Lookfantastic, which should arrive today.

Hoping to have a few more UU's before the end of the month too 🤞  Have currently UU 207 items this year, worth over £1600 🤯
