Gas increase warning


Estimated annual costs from 1 October 2022:
Gas: £1,509.27
Price difference:
Gas: £410.35 increase



Ive actually used 8 gas meter units in 15 days..... x 30 x 7p now..... £ 17 

heating on 75% now

    Mine is due to go up £210 to £800py I've used 7 meter units this month.

    CGH won't go on for another few months and even then it will be intermittent.

    Edit to add m³ meter.

    Couldn't see a question with OP and thought they wanted us to say what we've used 😉

    In general terms, gas kWh are increasing from about 7.3p to 10.3p. That's a 40% increase.
    40% of £1100 is £440, so that looks about right.

    15 days is no use when calculating your annual bill. What is your annual gas usage?

    And it needs to be in terms of KWh
    Just saying "units" is meaningless unless we know if it is metric (m³) or imperial (100s ft³).
