Prepayment £400 energy rebate vouchers.
How can energy rebate vouchers be used? Each voucher will be worth £66 or £67 but I am under the impression that the maximum amount I can load onto my electricity key is £49.
Does the remainder have to be spent on gas? If so what happens to energy customers in all electric homes?

Most keys hold £255. Who is your supplier? Also some suppliers are saying the voucher can be used for electricity or gas.0

£49 is the maximum you can add in one transaction onto the keys, the keys themselves hold more than £49 it just has to be loaded in multiple transactions.

Energy supply is dual fuel from Bulb & my DNO is SSE I put £50 on by key a few minutes ago as the PayPoint operator said that this was the maximum I could add to my key in one go.0

....and you can add £16 in another transaction. I've been buying £100+ electricity credit for years at the post office, I always end up with say 3 receipts for £30 £30 £40.

I am on a smart meter prepayment meter and the £66 was just added on meter on Friday. I am sure when I used to get the warm home discount it was just topped up as I topped up..I remember ringing them saying I hadn't received it and they told me to top up more frequently and it would come on which it did. Then last year it turned into a letter to take post office and they put separate amounts on to make it up to £140.
