New Octopus Smart Meters connection question
New Smart Meters were installed on 28th and IHD started working within the hour. Since then its been showing usage as expected, with occasional messages today 'waiting for current data'.
New meter numbers appear in online account & app, but there are no usage details yet. Electricity shows 28 September Data Collector reading 0, Gas shows Smart reading 0.
I will submit manual readings tomorrow or Sunday as planned, assuming I can figure out how to read the Electric meter.
All my previous manual readings have disappeared. I assume this is part of the set up process?

I have skim read that blog but as Electric meter is outside & its cold & raining heavily it can wait. I was a bit surprised that the previous manual readings had disappeared though.0 -
If your IHD is working then you can find the meter readings on there if you hunt throgh the options, no need to move from your armchair

As it’s only been 2 days, we’re still at the ‘what have you just switched on?’’ or ‘tonight’s meal cost £0.25 to cook but Wednesday night’s was only £0.21 stage’😊0 -

A bit puzzled as display on IHD doesn’t match the ‘Quick Start Guide’. After googling, now know we have IHD 3 but guide refers to IHD 6/7😏 Don’t think it matters but a bit confusing to a Septuagenarian😊
