Is this E.ON Next tariff right?

I am on Economy 7 with E.ON Next, Eastern region. Today they have changed the figures in my current tariff information box from 34.18/kWh to 62.31p/kWh (day) and from 17.87/kWh to 38p/kWh (night).
Are these the prices I will have to pay from tomorrow 1st October? They are considerably higher than those being discussed on various websites.
I've yet to get a response from E.ON next.

No, those look like the October Ofgem cap rates which have been supersed by the EPG prices.

  • That was my thought initially, but the rates were only altered today and are not the same as the prevoius rates I was quoted before the EPG which were higher still.

As you were told - those are the OFGEM October cap rates, appearing now because the implementation date for the October cap was, well, 1 October.

E.ON (in common with several other suppliers) haven't updated their online tariff display to the EPG.

HI @lordwoods - I'm in exactly the same boat as you, E7 in eastern region, with Sainsbury's Energy (essentially Eon Next). In the last 48 hours my account has display 3 different sets of unit rates, the two you have above and what I think were the current (ending today) SVR rates (which i wasn't on). I'm hopeful that the 34/17 day/night rates are the EPG rates but who know. Guess we just have to wait an see, still
