If it falls through, take the asking price from the BTL but ask for a deposit.[Deleted User] said:Had 6 viewings yesterday and 2 offers. 10k under from a FTB, 10k over from a BTL investor.I negotiated the FTB to 5k under asking and accepted the offer. Here's hoping it goes smoothly.1 -
That’s great news. Hope the FTBs have a decent deposit & can afford the higher mortgage rates. It’s stressful enough selling a Probate property after a bereavement, without being messed around by chancers like your previous purchaser.[Deleted User] said:Had 6 viewings yesterday and 2 offers. 10k under from a FTB, 10k over from a BTL investor.I negotiated the FTB to 5k under asking and accepted the offer. He is viewing with his wife on Monday so hopefully she is also keen. The EA will also go back to the original buyer and let them know I have accepted another offer. If they decide to go ahead with exchange even at the lower price, I'd be happy with that.
