YBS rainy day

I’m thinking of putting some savings Ito the Yorkshire building society rainy day account, I don’t intend having it there for too long, my question is if I withdraw it after say six months, as the interest is paid annually, will I get any at all?

Interest is almost universally calculated daily, so you will earn about 1/365th of the gross rate of interest on your balance each day it is held in the account.
  • You will get it paid if you close the account , if you leave it open with a zero balance it will appear on maturity. Dont forget to mark it on your calendar or its easy to forget
