We all have a bit of dirty laundry on our hands, but what if we told you that you could air it all out? Surf have enlisted the help of straight-talking Gemma Collins to take a deep dive into the nation's dirty laundry to offer her words of wisdom as our very own agony aunt. 

So, we want to hear your dirty laundry confessions and dilemmas, so we've teamed up with Surf so you can win an incredible prize in the process. Got something to get off your chest? We want to hear it!

We're on the hunt for the nation's dirty laundry – and we're not talking about muddy socks.
No, we want to hear about your tricky dilemmas, confessions, and the problems that you're in desperate need of answers to. Together, with Surf and their in-house agony aunt Gemma Collins – we'll be solving the nations woes on air.

This can include confessions, short-form issues, dilemmas and problems. For example: dating fails, laundry disasters, wardrobe malfunctions or a mortifying moment you might you need an opinion on.

    The Surf Burst 4 Online Promotion on Smooth Radio  
    August-September 2022– Specific Rules  

      
    1. The Surf Online Promotion (‘Promotion’) is organised by Global (as defined in the General Terms and Conditions). The Promotion will run from Wednesday 28th September 2022 to Wednesday 5th October 2022 on the Smooth Network. Global is the Promoter. The Promotion Partner mentioned in these Specific Rules is Surf. The Prize Providers are The NDL Group.   
    2. IMPORTANT: The Promotion is subject to these Specific Rules and the General Terms and Conditions which are available here (together, the ‘Promotion Terms and Conditions’). Entry into the Promotion constitutes acceptance of these Specific Rules and the General Terms and Conditions.  
      
    Details of the Promotion:  
      
    3. To enter the Promotion, you must: 
        1. Go online to the Promotion entry page at www.smoothradio.com/win and register your details; 
        2. Describe in 300 characters or less your dirty laundry problem or dilemma you would like Gemma Collins to solve for you. This can include (but is not limited to); confessions, short-form issues, dilemmas and problems for example dating fails, laundry disasters, wardrobe malfunctions or a mortifying moment you might you need an opinion on (your “Submission”).   
    4. Online entry will open 17:00 on Wednesday 28th September 2022 and close at 23:59 on Wednesday 5th October 2022. Entries received before or after this time will not be included in the Promotion.  
    5. Entries deemed by us to be rude, offensive, defamatory, illegal or condoning dangerous behaviour will be removed from the Promotion. 
    6. Within 14 days of the closing time of the Promotion, all eligible entries will be entered into a draw. One eligible entry will be selected at random and the winning entrant will be contacted by one of our representatives via telephone or email on the details with which you registered to enter the Promotion. If such winner does not respond within 14 days from being contacted, they will forfeit their right to the prize and we shall be entitled to select another winner by another random draw. That subsequent winner must respond to their winner notification email within 5 days of the date on which they receive it, or they will also forfeit the prize.   
    7. We and the Promotion Partner may publish and publicise your name, your nearest geographical location (for example, your nearest city, town or county) and your entry, and we may refer to your association with the Promotion and/or the prize, in any and all media, worldwide, in perpetuity, for publicity and PR purposes solely in connection with the Promotion.  
    8. In relation to winners (and runners up if applicable), you understand that we may: (i) interview you and your guest(s)/travel companion(s) which we may film, photograph and/or record and; (ii) film, photograph and/or record, you and your guest(s)/travel companion(s) in connection with the Promotion, either by telephone or in person, and we may use such films, recordings and/or photographs for publicity and PR purposes in any and all media, worldwide, as often and for as long as we consider appropriate or desirable, in connection with the Promotion. We may also publish your and your guest(s)/travel companion(s) name, image, social media handle and/or profile picture.  
    9. Your Submission  may be used in 30 and/or 60 second radio advertisements (“Radio Ads”) as part of the Promotion Partner’s marketing campaign. These Radio Ads will be created by our creative agency, Global Creative and will run across the Smooth Network. The Radio Ads may also feature online at www.smoothradio.com/win for as long as we consider appropriate or desirable. The details in the Submissions selected to be used in the Radio Ads may be changed to feature a fictitious name and/or location, where appropriate, but anonymity can not be guaranteed. 
    10. For the avoidance of doubt, any Submissions used in the Radio Ads will be used freely by Global Creative and entrants will not be paid for any content contribution.

    11. The Promotion is only open to residents of the UK aged 18 and over, and who are based in the UK at the time of entry.  
    12. Entry is restricted to one entry per person; duplicate entries will be excluded from the Promotion.

    Prize Terms and conditions:  
      
    14. The Prize Provider reserves the right to substitute the prize with an alternative of equal or greater value. Specifications are subject to change from the manufacturer without notice.  
    15. Travel is subject to availability at the discretion of the Prize Provider and excludes bank holidays, Valentine’s day/weekend and school holiday periods, specifically the Christmas holidays, summer holidays, spring and autumn half terms and Easter in the UK.  
    16. Travel allowance will be provided in the form of £100.00 spending money. Spending money will be transferred directly to the winner upon confirmation of full and correct bank details. Transfers can take up to 5 working days. 
    17. You will be staying at the 4* Wild Rabbit hotel, sharing a double room with en-suite bathroom on a bed and breakfast basis. If you’d prefer a twin room, we will do what we can to secure this for you, but it cannot be guaranteed.  
    18. Your Seasonal Table Arrangement and Flower Display workshop at Daylesford Organic Farm is based on 2 people and runs on various dates throughout the year. Experience lasts approximately 3.5 hours and includes guidance from talented floristry tutors, creating your own floral designs and arrangements using seasonal blooms, care for flowers and foliage and guided tour of the cutting room if weather permitting.   Subject to availability at time of booking.  
    19. Your dinner at The Trough is based on 2 adults enjoying a 3-course meal from the main menu including ½ bottle of house wine.  
    20. Spending money will be transferred directly to the winner upon confirmation of full and correct bank details. Transfers can take up to 5 working days. 
    21. All prizes must be claimed and booked by the prize winner within 12 months from the date of our initial correspondence with them. 
    22. You must, at your own cost, comply with all necessary checks, and/or tests required for travelling to and from and entering and exiting your travel destination/venue. This includes, but is not limited to, purchasing, organising, undertaking, recording and/or registering any required Covid-19 tests. We will not be responsible for any costs incurred by you in complying with this clause, nor will we purchase, organise, undertake, record and/or register any required Covid-19 tests.  
    23. You must comply with all applicable rules, regulations and guidance relating to Covid-19, both in the UK and your travel destination/venue. We are not responsible for your failure to comply with such rules, regulations and guidance.  
    24. You acknowledge and agree that, without limitation to the provisions of Clause 12 of the General Terms & Conditions, our ability to fulfil a prize and/or perform any of our obligations under the Promotion Terms and Conditions could be affected by an actual or threatened epidemic, pandemic, disease or quarantine and/or any corresponding governmental action, guidance and/or ruling (including but not limited to any Foreign, Commonwealth & Development Office guidance) (collectively ‘Covid Measures’).   
    25. If due to any Covid Measures, we are unable to fulfil a prize or perform any of our other obligations under the Promotion Terms and Conditions, then we shall not be in breach of the Promotion Terms and Conditions.  In accordance with Clause  28 below, in these circumstances, we reserve the right to substitute the prize with another prize of equal or greater value at our absolute discretion. 
    26. Any other costs and expenses which are not specifically included in the prize description are excluded and will be the sole responsibility of the winner.   
    27. The prize is non-transferable and non-refundable.

    31. By entering a Promotion, you acknowledge that any personal data provided by you in connection with the Promotion will be processed as set out above and in accordance with our Privacy Policy and our Promotion Partner’s Privacy Policy which sets out full details of how we process personal data and how you can exercise your rights as a data subject.     34. We will hold your personal data for a period of up to 3 years in order to comply with our regulatory obligations.
