Hi i would just like to point out that not everybody will get the 400 pounds rebate.I am on a fixed rate deal which is under the unit cost price of gas and electricity that the government has set.My deal is fixed till feb 2023 my company EDF have told me i wont be getting it so it is not true that everyone gets it.

It should not matter what rates you are on. Anybody with a domestic electricity account in their name should be getting the £400 (but not in a lump sum - £66/67 per month for 6 months).

There is some confusion there, your fixed rate pricing will not change, but you will get the £400, you have been misinformed.macca789456 said:Hi i would just like to point out that not everybody will get the 400 pounds rebate.I am on a fixed rate deal which is under the unit cost price of gas and electricity that the government has set.My deal is fixed till feb 2023 my company EDF have told me i wont be getting it so it is not true that everyone gets it.

You are incorrect in your understanding, either by poor information from EdF or by incorrect interpretation.macca789456 said:Hi i would just like to point out that not everybody will get the 400 pounds rebate.I am on a fixed rate deal which is under the unit cost price of gas and electricity that the government has set.My deal is fixed till feb 2023 my company EDF have told me i wont be getting it so it is not true that everyone gets it.
For clarity: If you have a domestic electricity account for the full six months, you will get £400 rebate. The only way you will get less is if you don't have an account for one or more of the months.0 -
My electricity (no gas) tariff is fixed until Oct 2023 at 20p/kwh, so way under any price cap. E.On Next have already notified me of the £67 reduction in my next dd. It will help toward the my next oil fill.Someone has misunderstood. As everyone else has said, if you have an electricity account you get the £400 over the next six months.0
