Economy 7 new tarriffs.
I'm aware that EDF has published their new tariffs to be applied from Oct 1, including those for Economy 7 electricity. Yesterday I read in a post on another thread that someone had just been advised of their new tariffs from Scottish Power and that the off-peak rate was just over 11p/kWh.
Can anyone else confirm the new Scottish Power tariffs or maybe you can add information on the new Economy 7 rates from your own supplier if you have been informed alraedy as to what they will be, any information you might have on these new Economy 7 rates would be very helpful.

Not sure why it would help you.
The E7 tariffs are completely different between suppliers and even between the different regions for the same supplier or how you pay.

Yes, thanks. That's the reason for me asking the question, at some point the suppliers will have to inform their customers of all the new tariffs. I'm not too concerned right now about the regional variations that do exist because for example I'm currently paying almost 19p/kWh with UW for off peak electric and I expect that to rise on Oct 1 but have yet to hear from them. EDF in my region has a new off peak rate at just over 13p/kWh for my region so it would make sense that I try and switch to them. However as mentioned in my original post, it has been mentioned on another thread that Scottish Power in at least one region have a new rate pf slightly over 11p/kWh.pochase said:Not sure why it would help you.

So, any information that can be shared I will find useful as a guideline, obviously if like the published EDF figures that are for all regions then even better.0 -
OP confirm which region of the country you are in, who your supplier is and how you pay the bills and someone may already have access to the rates that will apply to you.🎉 MORTGAGE FREE (First time!) 30/09/2016 🎉 And now we go again…New mortgage taken 01/09/23 🏡

Hi,I’m in northwest England and on Economy 7 fixed tariff for my all electric flat . I fixed my tariff in may and signed up for the Fix Total service May24v4(E7) with EDF as I expected another large increase in the prices. I now am not sure if that was a mistake as my Day rate is 39.09/ night rate is 21.49 and standing charge is 42.33/ day. Any help or advice would be helpful.Thanks.0
