My mobility element of PIP has been  frozen by legislation as I'm getting a state pension. I should be on the enhanced rate but am on standard rate. As far as I am concerned, that makes my PIP a means tested benefit as its dependent on my income. So I should get £650 for cost of living help for those on means tested benefits from Govt. instead of the £150 for those on disablilty benefits. Do you agree? Email your MP! This principle may apply in other areas too!

No, it's not because you receive your state pension, it's because you've reached state pension age.  It's because of your age, not your income.  Therefore you become entitled to age-related benefits such as the Winter Fuel Payment and the Pensioner Cost Of Living Payment, if you reached state pension age before 25th September this year.

Have you checked entitlement to Pension Credit, which is means tested?

No, not unless you were claiming Pension credit and received a payment for any day between 26th April and 25th May. Nothing to email your MP for.
  • On a tangent, does anyone know if mobility element automatically reduced/removed at pension age?

No, it just can't be increased as you've already found.
