I have used 18185 for years without a problem. But recently my PC was hacked and I've had to change passwords for all my logins, except for one: 18185. I realised that their website doesn't let you change your login details. I contacted customer services and they sent back a complacent reply saying don't worry, our security is good, your account will be fine.
All you need to login is my phone number and account number, and with those you can access my full details including itemised call logs, as well as add any additional mobile phone number which anyone could then use to run up a bill which I would be on the hook for. 18185 would then expect me to pay it. It is incredible that their site has such weak security. The only thing I can change is my email address but you don't need that to login.
I think I will have to close my account as I have to assume it could be compromised. So are there any good alternatives? It looks like at least one of the other number prefix services is run by the exact same company so I think I will avoid them.

Why not close your account and open a new account with 18185?
Your new account should have a new customer number so the old customer number cannot be used to log in to your new account.0
