Chain fallen apart - what would you do?

Hi all, I thought I'd come back and give an update 😊
There were some delays in the chain for our sale, so we only ended up completing this Monday (19th December). We had just over 3 weeks between exchange and completion, so lots of time to get packed up.
Our purchase progressed quickly as well. Various hick-ups towards the end meant we didn't manage to completely tie in completion dates, but we simultaneously exchanged and completed on Tuesday! So we were only without a home for one night. We got all our stuff moved into and then back out of storage, which I have to say was more work for the removals people but less stress for us (and probably cost us as similar amount compared to moving straight in, given that our purchase only completed at 4.45pm and we would have had to pay for them to wait around).
All in all, we have zero regrets and are currently busy unpacking and getting settled in our new home. I can't believe it all went through before Christmas! Thanks again all for your advice, enjoy the holidays and have a great start to the new year ❤17 -
Really happy to hear it all worked out and that you're in your lovely new home in time for Christmas...2
