Will I be eligible for the £400 Energy bills grant?
My partner and I currently live in a school bills and rent "free" (her salary is greatly reduced to reflect the benefit of accommodation). Unfortunately her job is so stressful that its affecting her mental health, so despite the hells fire thats going on in the world of bills and rent prices she is leaving her job and we're going to move into a rented house (you know its gotta be bad to want to leave "free" accommodation). We're not moving/start paying bills until maybe November or December though, so I was wondering if we will still see the benefit of the £400 energy grant from the government to help with our bills?

Once there is a domestic electricity account opened in one of your names you will begin to receive the monthly instalments, so you will miss out on part of the £400, but you will get the rest.
