Does Halifax Ultimate Reward include boiler cover?

Hi

I’m thinking of getting boiler cover / home care, but trying to figure out if the ‘home emergency cover’ that comes with the Halifax Ultimate Reward packaged current account. 

Does anyone have any opinions?

I doubt it has full boiler cover - the financial limit is only £250 for the home cover.

Also the full product detail at https://www.halifax.co.uk/assets/pdf/bankaccounts/pdf/ultimate-reward-current-account-guide.pdf says that 

Your heating system should be serviced and maintained within manufacturer’s guidelines.

So if you don't have the boiler and heating serviced regularly (probably annually) you may find there's no actual heating cover at all.  And if you do have it serviced regularly you probably don't need cover anyway.
