I stock up on things we use regularly when they're on special offer. Not clearing the shelves, but buying enough so that I never have to pay full price. I don't know why anybody pays RRP for washing powder, for example. Or coffee. Some products are now expensive even when they're on special offer. Like HP Sauce. I'm happy to go without.3

Reduced stuff for the freezer. Stopped buying brands when all this started. Except for Radox bath salts for the bath (I know - a bath is a real luxury now).
I do like marmite and bought a couple of jars when it was on offer.
Told Hubby he will have to make do with Tesco digestives instead of McVites - far too expensive now.1 -
Try the Lidl digestives @thriftytracey, we much prefer them in our house. Their hobnobs are good too, and the choc ones. Just a little less sweet
My friends say I’m getting fatter. In my defence I’ve had a lot on my plate recently…1 -
Reduced price meats from my local Lidl store, every time I go in at 08:00 I head straight for the fresh meats to see what, if any, meat is reduced.Someone please tell me what money is0

ditto on this. Also because of the recent L1dl promo change, we do one large shop at the start of the month, topping up with fruit & veg for the remaining weeks. So I now plan meals for the next 3 weeks at least which does lead to a low level of duplication on items.wild666 said:Reduced price meats from my local Lidl store, every time I go in at 08:00 I head straight for the fresh meats to see what, if any, meat is reduced.Fashion on the Ration 2025 58/661 -
Free Bakery Item at Lidl incentive - I am sure Lidl shoppers know this little trick. I purchase 2 loaves and a cake from the bakery section at weekly shop. You only get the cheapest item free so I pay for the cake separately so that I get the more expensive bread loaf free.
I have been buying the low GI loaf for years now - it is so delicious. Although I am sure shrinkflation has been applied as I don't get so many slices out of it!0
