Todays win may seem trivial to most - for the past 10 years solid I’ve religiously had my nails done every two weeks at a cost of £25 a pop and my eye brows done at a cost of £30 every other month.
2 months ago I brought my own gel polish and lamp and started doing my own nails and it felt good to be saving SO much money.
Today I purchased wax strips and brow tint for £3.78 and did my own brows and I am so happy with the outcome - the stuff I’ve purchased today will do another 3 sets of brows seeing me into the new year and over £100 better off!
I know this seems materialistic, but for me it’s been a huge win of breaking the habits that I need to break to make my debt repayment a priority over vanity!4 -
@DebtFreeWannabe88 - I don't think it's a trivial win at all!! It's a massive saving, we'll done!! 🥳🙌
Did a bit of shopping towards the end of the week and actually used the budget supermarkets rather than te*co for the first time! I only picked up a few bits as I didn't need much anyway but I've decided that I will do more of my shopping there in future.
I've been making sure that I only put the wm and dw on when there are full loads but I have had to use the td this week due to the weather - the forecasters have lied a lot this week!! 😳🤦♀️'Happiness is not a destination but the journey you walk every day'
