When we start out on the DFW trail we do loads of "big stuff" that makes quite a difference to our situation. These include having our lightbulb moment, cutting up the credit cards and cancelling Sky and the gym.
But once we have done the bigger stuff, we often feel that we are not making the same amount of progress, when in fact the small steps are helping us form good financial habits and helping us get closer everyday to staying in control and becoming debt free, or staying debt free.
Examples could be hanging washing out instead of using the tumble dryer or leaving your purse/wallet at home to avoid the risk of spending.
So be proud of those small steps, they really are important 😀

Morning allHad a covid jab yesterday, didn't sleep well and feel under the weather today. And I have to go to the dentist this afternoonOnly a check up, but I really don't feel like it. It is too late to cancel, and don't want to in any case as it will take ages to get another appointment (and I am a private patient, no chance of NHS round here). So few ambitions to get much done today. I had HG raspberries with breakfast, have cleaned up the kitchen, and prepped the postal survey items for the coming week.It is cold, wet and windy, so I am pleased that I got the washing mostly dried outside yesterday. I need to get it on the airer to finish off.3

Had a couple of decluttering wins - an old golf trolley from the garage has been collected by a freecycler, and loads of plates, glasses etc were collected by one of the town councillors who appealed for household items for a Ukrainian family.Less good news is that a plant's drainage saucer has overflowed and made a nasty mark on my antique dining table
OH can sort it out, as he does wood stuff, but imagine the tutting!
