Eon Next Shocking Customer Service

Has anyone else had the same experience as I’m currently suffering from?

I have a query on my proposed Direct Debit. I spent all day Friday trying to speak to someone. I’ve now spent most of today also trying without success to raise my concerns.

Does anyone have a phone number that they will actually answer.

I’ve had several emails with varying amounts mentioned.

I’ve looked at potentially moving my account but I can’t get a quote from any other suppliers.

Any thoughts/advice would be welcomed.

Kind regards

David

Hardly any suppliers are currently accepting new customers: why would they? You could try EDF and Octopus, but you'll need to do it by phone.
No free lunch, and no free laptop ;)

Don't forget that you can always flip things around and rather than giving your energy supplier a fixed DD every month, you can instead put that money into another account you own and pay for just the energy you use. You need to remember however that winter bills could be substantially higher than summer bills and ensure you have sufficient money in the account to cover you over winter. It's certainly not for everyone.

@davidwm What does your online account say ?
Never pay on an estimated bill. Always read and understand your bill
  • I've always found that they respond to e-mails reasonably quickly. Their address is hi@eonnext.com.
  • Thousands of people have been spooked into calling their suppliers for no reason, is it any wonder they’re slow to respond?
