Eon October price Eastern region
Sorry if this has been answered already but I cannot find it. Eon Next have not told me yet what the gas and electricity rates are going to be from October 1st and I am worrying. I am coming to the end of a fix which means my costs will increase significantly - I am expecting to pay another 2/3 on top of present cost but because I dont know what the sc and kWh rates are I cannot work it out for sure so am concerned my expectation might be too low. I have tried to cut back lots but am looking at winter with concern as i have a very fixed amount for gas/elec that I can spend. Thank you.

We don't know yet, but expect them to be close to 34p/kWh electric, 10p/kWh gas, with standing charges of 46p/28p from October 1st, but you'll also have a £66/67 credit to the account each month for 6 months.

Thank you - I am in Eastern region. I am looking for the kWh cost for gas and electric plus the standing charge for both. My use is dictated by cost and there are less people in the house since summer so previous usage will be much more (think electric showers, gamer, awake/eating at different times). This is why the actual cost per kWh is better for me as I can work out what we can use per day and bank unused kWh for Jan/Feb/xmas when colder/family come to stay. should say I pay by monthly direct debit so know each month what I am going to pay…… well I will do when Eon tell me!1 -
These are the rates from EDF but all suppliers (including EON) will have very similar rates.
For direct debit its:Electricity 38.94p standing charge, 35.05p unit rate.Gas 28.48 standing charge, 10.309 unit rate.
