They admitted that the error is common and the starter form was confusing. I ticked no when I should have ticked yes.Payroll never received the SL2 from HMCR, which they needed to take it off.There’s only one way of life, and that’s your own!0 -

I think it’s still emergency tax, and HMRC haven’t sent payroll the new tax code yet because my P45 was late.There’s only one way of life, and that’s your own!0

HMRC said they told payroll my new tax code and also told them to stop the student loan. They also said I shouldn’t have been on emergency tax in September.Hopefully it’s all sorted now.There’s only one way of life, and that’s your own!1 -
Got a tax rebate of £990.
