Do you have a link to the exact product you purchased?

Their FAQ is as clear as mud with answers lke...

    How does WOPA+ work?

WOPA+ works as an intermediary between you, the customer, and postal administrations and sellers around the globe.

Who is the "customer"? It'd suggest the seller may not be the postal administrators themselves too.

Regarding "who is the customer", I took it that it should read:  "WOPA+ works as an intermediary between you (the customer) and postal administrations and other sellers around the globe."  But it's not really clear what it is intended to mean.

Perhaps there should be brackets around "and other sellers" too?

Isn't there a difference between import VAT and VAT?

I think that might be intended to capture scenarios where the postal administration in the relevant country isn’t the seller. For example, in the UK, Royal Mail deals with the design, printing, sale etc of all stamps. However, in some countries, the postal administration will outsource that responsibility to a third party and in that case, the seller will be that third party agency. This applies to a number of smaller commonwealth countries, among others.

I purchased a number of different stamps but they included the following:

Is there? I thought it was the same. There is a difference between VAT and customs duty but despite paying over £135, no customs duty has been applied (just VAT).

The gov.uk website also states in relation to import VAT that “ VAT is charged at the VAT rate that applies to your goods.” Based on my understanding, this should have been nil because stamps are not subject to VAT.
