That is intriguing and I for one would be interested in the long story. Was the 5 star hotel really that bad?No need they said, we’ll do it under local at the same time as we drill your mouth!!Manager was called and with my raising my voice in a somewhat crowded waiting room agreed to refund me. One caviat, I am put on a hush order from mentioning the name on social media
I work in dentistry in Turkey, and we often get patients from abroad. Clinic should have returned all your money, because they changed the treatment plan in the clinic examination. (I am assuming you went there with an initial plan based on photos & X-rays)
Also - in general, pre-payment is a bad idea. They should treat your flight ticket as your commitment.2 -

You seem to have resurrected every thread about dentistry abroad.

Someone I know went to Turkey for cosmetic surgery, from their social media posts it was a terrible experience. Taken to a hotel not hospital immediately after surgery and then struggled to get hold of anyone for pain relief. Might be a bargain price but the experience matches the price paid.Remember the saying: if it looks too good to be true it almost certainly is.0

In the end I went to Germany. Smile Health run an extremely efficient service for around the same cost as Turkey. Dr. Sperber runs the largest independent practice in Germany and specializes in implantoligy. He teaches qualified dentists how to do implants and has a team of highly trained staff. Because he needs patients for them “practice on” he offers a large discount. Don’t worry, he is always there looking over shoulders. He’s based in Berlin and Leipzig. I spent 4 hours in a chair having 2 roots extracted that my British dentist left behind, then a cast was made, 2 implant holes drilled and a temp denture with the 2 implants and a crown in between. 1 night in a hotel and flew home the next day went back 2 months later to have the perminant implants fitted. That was 2 years ago now and all still well. The common law of business balance prohibits paying a little and getting a lot. If you deal with the lowest bidder, it is well to add something for the risk you run, and if you do that you will have enough to pay for something better.1
