ChocolateBunny - I did have a look at all her benefits but I don't think she qualifies for reduction on the lpa. Thank you Getmore4less, I have downloaded the guide from the Gov. website.
Mum has been spending a lot of time in hospital the past three weeks due to various health problems, the social services lady on my Mum's case is hoping she is well enough to come home sometime next week and is setting up a home care package. I need to chat to Mum again about the LPA, but will wait to see if she fully understands what we are talking about. Last time I tried, she seemed so unsure, not helped by the back pain she was suffering from. Thank you all for taking the time to help
