EDF Smart Meter Installation Availability

Does anyone know when EDF smart meter installations become available. I moved house in March this year and have been looking periodically since then but their smart meter bookings are always showing as fully booked. Even when I phoned them they advised it is best to go through their website to arrange a booking as the call handler advised they are seeing they were fully booked too and couldn't advise any more. 

I only require electricity smart meter because I use oil for central heating and no gas is available in the area I live. 

It would also need to be a smart meter able to cope with 3 phase electricity which I have in my house.

It is reported that suppliers are struggling to meet the smart meter rollout target due to the World-wide computer chip shortage which translates into a shortage of smart meters. You will need a 3-phase smart meter which may require a conversation with the supplier prior to them making a booking.
