Thornton Baines - any opinions?

As I'm typing this, I'm struggling to think what my actual question is here, but it's probably more about trying to establish that they are competent and provide value for money around will/estate planning services.
They do appear to be regulated IFAs, which immediately puts them above the likes of SJP (in my view), but on the flip side, they seem to be fairly persistent with their marketing approach. And they use the dreaded "W" word (thats's Wealth, if it wasn't obvious!).
This isn't for me, but for an older relative that's considering using them for estate management services. It's his call obviously but was slightly nervous about whether they would do a good job for a reasonable (as opposed to just 'cheap') price.
So any experiences, insider views, anything else... would appreciate it.
