Betting company searches on credit file

My credit file shows a single soft search by Power Leisure Bookmakers Limited. The search has a sub-title of 'Anti Money Laundering'. I understand that betting companies undertake soft searches on some of their customers however, I am and never have been a customer. I'm assuming my details have been used in respect of a transaction with Power Leisure. I've tried to find a contact for Peer Leisure but only get details of individual betting shops. Does anyone have contact details for Power Leisure Bookmakers Limited or advice about how to find out what is actually going on? Thanks

I've just found the same problem... Soft Search by Power Leisure Bookmakers Limited / Betfair Limited. Got in touch with Betfair through their messaging service but they were asking so many personal identity questions I terminated the session. The final straw was when they wanted me to upload a photo of myself hold my driving licence or passport.
So, don't know where to turn to now. Any ideas anyone?0 -

@Privilege435 any update on this? I’ve just found a similar unsolicited search by Power Leisure Bookmakers Limited and was wondering how you got on.0

Did either of you have any success?Sam Vimes' Boots Theory of Socioeconomic Unfairness:
People are rich because they spend less money. A poor man buys $10 boots that last a season or two before he's walking in wet shoes and has to buy another pair. A rich man buys $50 boots that are made better and give him 10 years of dry feet. The poor man has spent $100 over those 10 years and still has wet feet.
