Premium Bonds Prize Rate Increase?

I'm writing this post on the back of the BOE recent interest hike to 2.25% to serve as a discussion on the prize rate of premium bonds. I did some research on historical rates and in December 2008 the interest rate was 2% the premium bonds prize rate was 1.8%.
As interest rates are now higher than this, at 2.25%, could we expect the prize rate to increase from its current rate of 1.4% to 1.8%, or potentially even 2%?
Would like to hear people's thoughts on this, thanks.

I did start a topic on this last month hoping the prize rate would increase sooner rather than later:
