Off-peak Savings

Thanks, I'm in North Scotland and currently paying 32p day rate and 18p Off peak with UW. I expect the Off peak rate to rise this October and as my off-peak usage is substantially higher than the day rate usage at 80/20 or thereabouts in winter I'm going to be looking for the cheapest off peak rate I can get.47p/12p isn't a massively unusual E7 ratio.
There are two SVTs with a night rate of less than 7p/kWh that I know of.
Any additional information you might have on off peak rates with other suppliers from October would be most helpful.EDF are accepting switchers, and their rates applicable from October 2022 are here:N. Many thanks, that looks like a very good deal compared with even the one I'm on now before the October rise. I notice in the table that PAYG is 2.5p per kWh cheaper than Direct Debit which seems a bit strange, do you know if you can get the PAYG rate without having a meter installed and by paying in advance instead?EDF are accepting switchers, and their rates applicable from October 2022 are here:

In EdF world - PAYG is "prepayment if you have a smart meter", prepayment is "prepayment if you have a key meter".2

Thanks to you both, I have a new Smart Meter that was fitted by SSE when I moved into this flat last November before I switched to UW. I believe the new meter is a "SMET 2".
I guess the best thing I could do for now is wait a week or two to see what UW's new rates will be and if EDF's are better then get on the phone to them.
Once again many thanks.2
