Witness statement for County court

Hi,
High view parking Ltd
DCB legal
Ok, so defence was submitted yesterday for my husband, so next step I guess is witness statements. On 2 occasions my husband and I both parked at the same car park, we both had Fines come through, I appealed mine and the fine was cancelled, I then appealed my husbands literally a week later using the same appeal as mine and they rejected and continued with their silly process. Up till this point. Am I ok to use my appeal showing they cancelled the fine (all on email) to help my husbands case. As in theory they should have either rejected both or cancelled both? Any advise would be great - thanks

My advice is to read the NEWBIE sticky and, in particular, the second post that deals with the court; there are some links that will take you through the 12-step process after filing defence. You will also find advice in the template defence thread. Did your husband submit the defence to CCBC by e-mail in his own name and sign it? We saw a defence thrown out reported here yesterday because the defendant did not sign it!2

The fact your PCN was cancelled on appeal isn't relevant.
The next 12 steps are shown in the first post of the Template Defence thread and the next stage & submission is not WS.However, long-term, it's good to prepare for WS stage. Look at the bundle posted by @aphex007 in their thread.PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

"Ok, so defence was submitted yesterday for my husband,....."
Was the forum Defence template used? - if so can you post the relevant (amended) paras (usually 2 & 3)
If not post the actual Defence verbatim please.1 -

To all that have commented on this post
and previous posts, I’d like to thank you all for the advice given and the templates. We got the notice of discontinuance today… finally after 5 years it’s all over. And didn’t even get to the WS stage I had already prepared.Case closed 😃4 -
Nice one @ginjamyninja, your thread is now part of the mounting evidence of DCB Legal's regular abuse of the court process to chase dubious 'debts'.

Please note, we are not a legal advice forum. I personally don't get involved in critiquing court case Defences/Witness Statements, so unable to help on that front. Please don't ask. .
I provide only my personal opinion, it is not a legal opinion, it is simply a personal one. I am not a lawyer.

Well done! That's a win.
ANOTHER DISCONTINUANCE!ANOTHER HIGHVIEW ONE BITES THE DUST!
And we sincerely hope that you are au fait with the need to respond to the final Government Public Consultation?
Please don't leave us just yet.
We all need to ram the nail in the coffin of the false £70 'DRA fee' add-on, that actually funds the court claim and toxic CCJ culture, as well as the DRA and roboclaim 'legals' gaslighting of people.
Please come back here when it opens, and you can make sure you don't miss the Consultation:
If you are not a regular reader, to be alerted you'll need to bookmark the thread by MSE_JC at the top of the forum and enable (on your profile) email alerts for bookmarked threads.
Then join us when the Consultation opens. Should be within weeks, hopefully.PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).
