Morning all; sunny here at the moment but I bet it's a bit chilly. The cars are damp from overnight as well.
We had a super day out at Waddesdon Manor yesterday; highly recommend if you're in the area and even better if you're a NT member, as it's free! We arrived just after 11am and still didn't manage to see everything when we left at 5.30pm. I've now booked us tickets for Windsor Castle before DSin Law flies back to Sydney; she's looking forward to that.
Today there is washing to hang out and then bits and pieces to catch up on. I need to make sure we've plenty of milk for our 20 visitors on Sunday and sort out some tablecloths etc. Also need to collect a small table and 2 chairs from a friend down the road and a couple of other things she's lending us.
Will push on now. Hope all the babies are putting on weight and other folks stay well.7 -
Coxy, yes it was Paradise Park, we're contemplating getting annual passes, we would get the cost of yesterday's tickets off if we convert in the next seven days.
Blackandgold, Waddesdon is lovely, there is so much to see. Chris and Crystal often go to their Christmas event which they say is really good.
I forgot to say that Nate has an ultrasound on his hips today, because he was a breech baby problems are more common. He was stuck in the breech position most of the time because of a physiological thing so hopefully he will be fine. Crystal has been told that any subsequent baby will probably be breech as well.6 -
@snoozer Yes, we usually go at Christmas time with friends. I hadn't been in daylight for years and they've changed a few bits around. We had a lovely lunch down at The Stables too.6

Morning
Lovely day today so much for the gloomy predictions of rain all day
Well it seems completion will be 30th so a week left to pick up the remaining few bags then it will all be over.
Yesterday and today I have been piling through a list of companies that need to know. Its a thankless task. Yesterday I was on the phone to the council tax for over 2hrs ! Its so difficult to speak to a person now and you are driven to their websites which is fine but unless you are the actual person then they won't accept your details even with a POA. I laughed when I was told a few times to ring on completion day. I would never get round to completing if I sat waiting in never ending queues (just clocked up hour one for DWP grrrr)
Food wise its quick and easy stuff at the moment. No scratch cooks for me for a while. Saying that I had a delivery this morning and i have some mince in it so I think Saturday Ill make a big chilli which should last a few days.
Tonight Im feeling a cheese and ham toastie.
Still no answer from DWP so I'll settle in for a long one
Have a good day all

Hi everyone, house to myself atm, DH had an early physio, then had to go with DS to pick up his car & not back yet.DS2 called after dropping DGD off at her school football club at 8, and on to DGS school on the other side of town. We are midway between the 2 schools. They had a late night as DGS went to a performance of Shrek at the town hall as some of the extras go to his school - he didnt come out until 10.30! He must have got up ok as they beeped me on the way to school as I was taking Bigdog out. It's DGD birthday early next week, we were hoping to do the presents on Sunday after her football game but she's going somewhere birthday related so it's tomorrow. I need wrapping paper, but apart from that everything luckily has arrived that needed delivery and my trip to Hobby craft yesterday was a success too.Enjoy the show TA. Sounds like a few of you have enjoyed nice days out. B& Gold- hope all goes to plan for the wedding! Hope Taff is having a good time.Oh they're back home, right better go and persuade DH to take me for wrapping paper. Have a good day all x:heartsmil 'A woman is like a teabag: You never know her strength until you drop her in hot water'. (Eleanor Roosevelt)5
